mi armory

last week, i took advantage of armory arts week and visited scopepluse and verge: art brooklyn
my favorite was SCOPE, because the presentation was very casual and raw and felt younger vibe than PLUSE. PLUSE was well organized and i smelled much more "institution" in the air which made me a little uncomfortable. i enjoyed learning so many creative ways of installing arts.

my favorite booth was of course, Jen Bekman's 20X200. i am always amazed by the cohesiveness of their delivery and presentation from the gallery, to the web and to the booth.

new project!

these are the pictures of a store, called CAPRICCIO, in my hometown, Yamaguchi, Japan. I really love this store and how the owner orchastrates her products. She puts souls in each product so you are so amaze to browse each piece in the store!

and... we are pleased to announce that my store in Japan, RE:STORE STUDIO and CAPRICCIO have started this collaborative project! Every two months, CAPRICCIO will carry our collection of jewelry by one designer and we rotate the featured designer. This will be an amazing and exciting project!
