Event: Design Night on Duane Street

last wednesday, i checked out this event called design night on duane street. there are some amazing antique funiture and objects stores and art galleries along duane street in tribeca, and this was the night that they collectively set up an open house to celebrate their style and design. it was very well organized and it was such a pleasure to browse through their stores and galleries at a beautiful night. final note. i found project 8's new retail outlet and they said that they are not officially open yet but used the night as "pre-showing" of their store. oh, and the highlight of the night was when i stepped into this gallery and found amazing pieces of original andy warhols. i have this weird thing about andy warhol. every tme i see his original works, i just can't stop looking at them and stay in front of the pieces for about good10 minute or so. i juts have to observe every little thing about each work and i have to carefully look at his signature and how the line of pencil traveling on the paper. whenevr i see his works, i juts have to feel that he really existed by looking closely at his works. but i didn't take pictures of them i always try to remember how they look in my head rather than take actual pictures of them. i know it sounds weird.... anyway, it was such a fun night on duane street.
